Privacy Policy

This is the official Shadowrocket website and guide. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit iosshadow.com and applies to this site's pages and navigation. It does not replace the app's in-app privacy information or Apple's terms. Please read it before browsing the guide, visiting the App Store, or changing your browser settings.

1. Scope and website visit data

This site uses static pages and has no registration, sign-in, or email submission forms. You do not need to provide your name, email address, Apple ID, payment details, or server credentials to read the official guide. This site does not provide proxy servers. Import instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details; handle that information in the client and do not submit it to this site.

When your browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, page path, response status, and browser type. This information is used to deliver pages, identify unusual requests, and troubleshoot access issues. These website access logs are separate from connection logs within the Shadowrocket app and do not reveal network activity in the client.

2. How analytics are used

This site uses analytics to understand page readership, on-site navigation, and clicks on App Store links. The data helps improve content structure, fix broken links, and check page availability. Analytics may include the pages visited, referring pages, device and browser categories, and click events triggered by user actions.

For example, clicking the App Store product page button on the authenticity check page records a click on the store link. This event does not indicate a completed purchase and does not include order totals or payment details. Do not add passwords or subscription credentials to a page URL, as they could become part of technical logs. This site does not ask you to submit personally identifying information through analytics.

3. Cookies and local storage

Reading static page content does not require account cookies. Whether analytics use cookies or save identifiers in your browser depends on the active analytics configuration and your browser settings; static pages do not necessarily mean that no cookies are used. Your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and images to avoid repeat requests.

Local storage and cookies are separate mechanisms. Page anchors and the current menu state should not automatically be treated as persistently stored data. You can view and clear this site's cookies, cache, and local storage, or restrict future storage, in your browser's site data settings. Restricting analytics or storage may affect visit counts and the retention of some states, but usually will not prevent you from reading static content.

4. App Store links and purchase data

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store product page is the only place to get it. Apple operates that page. After you leave this site, account verification, purchases, payments, restoring purchases, and related data processing are subject to Apple's terms and privacy information. This site does not receive your Apple ID password, payment card details, or purchase receipts.

A one-time purchase of the client is not a service subscription. Buying the app and using services you already have are separate matters. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions. For information about data handled by the app, see its App Store privacy information and in-app notices. Check the App Store page for device compatibility, system requirements, and purchase terms.

5. Policy updates and checking current information

If site features or data handling practices change, this policy will be updated on this page, and the “Last updated” month at the top will be revised. Refer to the current published policy. The date indicates when this policy was revised, not when a Shadowrocket version was released. Changes involving new uses of data should be explained before the relevant feature is enabled.

To check website links, the purchase process, or client settings, see the FAQ and tutorials. This site has no feedback form that collects personal information. When troubleshooting, do not show others pages or configurations containing passwords, subscription credentials, or payment details.
