Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

This is the Shadowrocket website and guide. This disclaimer explains the scope of our purchase guidance, tutorials, terminology explanations, and troubleshooting content, along with the responsibilities involved in using them. Consider your device’s state, the app’s actual interface, and the App Store listing when following this guide.

1. Guide Scope and Service Boundaries

This site provides guidance on getting, configuring, and using the Shadowrocket client. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. Check the App Store listing for system requirements, device compatibility, and whether the purchase is universal.

We do not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions, and we are not responsible for services provided by a user’s existing provider. Tutorials on importing, connecting, and updating assume that users already have their own subscription or server details. A one-time purchase of the app does not include a proxy service. Buying the client does not provide access to a proxy service, and service availability cannot be inferred from the app’s purchase status.

2. Content Accuracy and Interface Changes

Tutorials reflect the interface checked when they were written. App updates, system changes, or differences in device layout may affect button locations, option names, permission prompts, and the order of steps. Follow the prompts on your device, and don’t proceed if you’re unsure what a setting does.

The troubleshooting steps in this guide are intended to help narrow down a problem; they do not guarantee a particular connection result, speed, or level of stability. The same symptom may have different causes, including the local network, server status, DNS, or Config contents. If the instructions don’t match the interface you see, first check the relevant information in FAQs and tutorials. Don’t assume your current configuration is correct based on an example alone.

3. Purchases, Pricing, and App Store Information

The only place to get Shadowrocket is the Shadowrocket App Store page (opens in a new window). Before purchasing, check the official icon, developer Shadow Launch Technology Limited, and app ID 932747118. Our purchase instructions explain the steps but do not replace the transaction terms shown in the App Store.

Pricing, currency, taxes, availability by region, payment methods, and refund terms are determined by the App Store listing and the information shown at checkout. Restoring a purchase depends on your purchase history, the Apple ID used, and the current App Store status. Family Sharing eligibility is also subject to the App Store listing. Review the purchase details before completing payment. For verification steps, see How to verify the official App Store listing.

4. Configuration and User Responsibilities

You are responsible for verifying the source, authorization, and validity of any subscription or server details you already have, and for complying with applicable laws and service terms. Subscription URLs, credentials, and configuration files may contain sensitive information. Store them securely; don’t publish them or submit them to unfamiliar websites.

Before changing Global Routing, DNS, rules, or On Demand, save a recoverable Config. Change only one setting at a time, then test again. Example rules explain syntax; they are not complete configurations for every network. If a connection is interrupted by incorrect settings, overwritten configuration, an expired service, or changed network conditions, investigate using the information available to you. Our guidance does not replace your judgment about the effects of your actions.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or affects your statutory consumer rights. When following our instructions, also review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
